OverviewFollowing Jesus was never meant to be complicated. Long before theology was articulated and churches were established, there were twelve ordinary men who simply heard His call and followed. Their stories-beautiful, raw, and profoundly human-continue to shape the lives of disciples today. In Walk with the Twelve, Josh Burnham invites you on a journey through the lives of the first disciples, uncovering the simple but transformative lessons hidden in their encounters with Jesus. Each chapter offers a fresh look at a familiar figure-Peter's boldness, Andrew's quiet faithfulness, James's courage, John's love, Thomas's honest doubts, and more-showing how their unique paths can illuminate our own. This book is not a scholarly treatise or a complicated guide. It is an invitation to walk the ancient path of apprenticeship to Jesus with clarity, humility, and joy. Whether you are new to the faith or longing to deepen your discipleship, Walk with the Twelve will help you see that following Jesus is less about perfection and more about faithful steps in His direction. Simple lessons. Lasting wisdom. A journey worth taking.
