Since the end of World War II, there have been 181 insurgencies around the world. Seth G. Jones is Harold Brown Chair and Director of the Transnational Threats Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), as well as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University's School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
