OverviewConstituting a tool for teaching and studying anatomy on UNIX workstation computers or PCs, this CD-ROM provides a 3-D atlas of the brain and skull. The brain atlas is derived from MRI and contains a knowledge base with information about morphology, cortical function and blood supply. The skull atlas is derived from CT and contains morphology information only. In order to run, the CD requires a MOTIF user-interface on the following UNIX (or OSF/1)-workstations: DEC 3000 APX; DEC station; SUN Sparcstation; silicon graphics; Hewlett-Packard and PCs under UNIX. The minimum configuration required is: colour display (preferably with 24-bit frame buffer for high image quality, or with 8-bit frame buffer for standard image quality; at least 96 MB of main memory; and a CD-ROM drive.
