OverviewWhen Mark was in his late teens a preacher showed the power of putting oneself in the shoes of a character in the Bible, often someone unknown and maybe even unmentioned, like a person in the crowd. These poems arise from Mark's meditations on how various people would have felt at different times while witnessing or reflecting on Biblical events. Some are also his impression of what God is saying at the time, or how Jesus is feeling. Out of respect for God's infinite nature, he differentiates between ""the"" voice of a person and ""a"" voice of God / Jesus.
