Author Information

Raymonde Standun is a native of Cork. She moved to France as a young woman, where she remained for 3 years, developing her interest in photography. Returning to Ireland, her work as a tour guide led her to Connemara, where she has lived ever since. Bill Long is a well-known broadcaster and has made over 200 broadcasts on RTAe's Sunday Miscellany. His books with New Island include Bright Light,WhiteWater (1993), AChange of Heart: Journal of a Heart Transplant (1995) and Brief Encounters: Meetings with Remarkable People (1999).
