""Voices from Within"" is an honest and moving collection of more than fifty poems and artworks created by the NHS Newham Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIS) Creative Writing Group. It contains contributions from members with lived experience of psychosis, carers, and the group's facilitator, Dele Oladeji. The creative writing group was designed to be an encouraging space where participants could reclaim their voice without judgement. Here, the participants' identity was considered to be more than their diagnosis, and creativity was a therapeutic outlet and part of the recovery process. The poems and artwork in the collection were created independently by all participants, guided by themes offered by the facilitator. The result is a revealing reflection of individual realities; stories of pain, love, isolation, connection, vulnerability and strength. All profits support ELFT Charity, funding future creative projects in Newham EIS.
