Voices From the Night is about relationships. We are defined by the relationships and experiences we choose in the course of our life. I have been fortunate to make a number of choices that have taken me into environments where I have met some of the most incredible, strong, and resilient people you can imagine. My first significant choice as a teenager was a decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ. James E. Copple has a long and distinguished career in youth work, education, substance abuse, crime and violence prevention, and international development. A nationally recognized speaker and writer in these fields, Mr. Copple served as the Founding President of Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA), Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the National Crime Prevention Council, President of the International Institute for Alcohol Awareness, Senior Policy Analyst for the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation and most recently, Founding Partner of Strategic Applications International, LLC and President of Servant Forge. Mr. Copple has facilitated 22 state-wide summits on Meth Prevention and Enforcement, numerous summits on violence prevention, gun violence prevention, and comprehensive planning on alcohol prevention and treatment among underage youth. He has delivered major addresses in every state of the union and spoken in twenty-two different nations, including a major facilitation between the Israel and the Palestinian Authority on youth substance abuse and violence prevention at the request of the State Department.
