Overview

The Voces Summer Writing Institute celebrates its quincenera this year. Since 2002, young writers have come up through the program and honed their craft with some of Albuquerque's best artists. But Voces is so much more than a writing workshop, it is a space where young people from across the city can grow together in their love of words, build relationships with each other and their communities, and develop into young leaders. Voces has a lasting effect on its students, we will never forget the impact of such a creative and encouraging program on our lives, and how we became the people we are today with the guidance of our artistic mentors. This year's Voces program continues in this tradition, and for many quinceneras to come.
