Fruit all of all descriptions ? including sweet spiced tomato with mango ? are offered followed by sublime mixes of creamy fillings and crunchy toppings. Chocolate too, mixed in, adds a decadent touch while iced coffee crumble will tantalise the taste buds on a warm summer?s evening. Camille then moves on to the more novel savoury crumbles (but who hasn?t added a layer of breadcrumbs to a savoury bake?) with vegetarian offerings to die for such as courgette crumble and spring vegetable crumble and exotic crumbles such as Indian style and Moroccan together with meat-based crumbles for non-vegetarians. An attractively presented book, part of the ?With Friends? series from Hachette, it offers a taste of the traditional with innovation and inspiration.
