Author Information

An incredibly creative and talented author, John Wood has written about 60 books from BookLife Publishing. Born in Warwickshire, he graduated with a BA in English literature and English Language from De Montfort university. During his studies, he learned about literature, styles of languages, Linguistic relativism, and psycholinguistics, which is the study of effects of languages on the brain. Thanks to his learnings, John successfully uses words that captivate and resonate with children and that will be sure to make them retain information. His stories are entertaining, memorable, and extremely fun to read. Jasmine graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2017, where she studied Media Production BA (Hons) specialising in Design. Originally from King’s Lynn, she moved back after completing her degree and joined the BookLife team. Jasmine has since designed over 150 books across BookLife’s non-fiction range and illustrated a few fiction readers, too. Being a mum of one fuels her imagination and creativity in her design approach, with her style being colourful, fun and playful.
