Overview

During the dormancy of dusk the ancient and archaic live again. A tinge of twilight evokes a pallor of dormancy upon the faculties of the world. Eroded are the ramparts of the day and the activities of the earth. The hidden hollows of our souls awaken. Senses we forsake in the day and night are heightened. It is during these periods of gloaming and stillness that we can feel most lucid and alive. Visions Visceral is a collection of my poetry, photography, and art. Within these pages images mate with verse while others stand alone or are connected through deeper but less obvious reasons. This book has manifested from my visions, experiences, dreams, nightmares, spirituality, and love of nature and rustic life. I share my art with you and hope it moves you to feel, grow, heal, and explore yourself. Perhaps it will also help you remember and connect with something long forgotten. Feel the mystery, magic, and presence all around you yet also within. Shorten the residence within the maze of your mind and dwell within the home of your heart.
