Visions of Ted Bundy: The Psychic and the Chi Omega Murders

Overview

In Tallahassee, Florida, early one cold winter morning in 1978, a mad man entered the Chi Omega sorority house near the Florida State University campus, and viciously attacked four women. Two would die. A fifth woman was brutally attacked just blocks away. Authorities urgently searched for the killer leaving no stone unturned. If psychics provided persuasive links to the killer, why not use them? Joseph, a young music student, has visions of the killer. Lieutenant George Brand, an investigator on the task force, promised the victims' families he will do what it takes to catch the assailant. Joseph brings his visions to Brand and, within weeks, Theodore Robert Bundy is arrested. Susan Waller, a young newspaper reporter, is unexpectedly approached by Joseph, who claimed to have provided key psychic details that led to the capture of Bundy. Would Bundy have been captured without Joseph's help? Was there a psychic link between Joseph and Bundy? This is the true story of the hunt for, and capture of, Theodore Robert Bundy.

Author Information

Susan Waller Lehmann hails from Miami, Florida, and attended Florida State University. Perhaps because the temperate climate of the South attracts crazies, her life intersected with two serial killers, and, as a result, her first two books recount her stories of Ted Bundy in the aftermath of the 1978 Chi Omega murders, and Daniel Rolling during the 1990 Gainesville Student murders. The non-fiction subjects she prefers to write about delve into her wide-ranging experiences as a journalist, private investigator, and death penalty mitigation expert. There ought to be a good story or two in there somewhere. What's that old saw? Truth is stranger than fiction. Her formative years spent in the southeastern United States, she now lives with her husband and a well-loved feline in the beautiful northern Wasatch Mountains. She occasionally yearns for thunderstorms, trees, and the ocean. This emotional response does not extend to humidity, cockroaches or fleas.
