Overview

Bove Sandle has been receiving visions since his mission to the planet Kryth. After that mission, Kryth was approved for colonization and a colony was established. The Kazons, an empire ruling a section of the galaxy close to Kryth, have discovered the colony and claim Kryth is within their territory. They want the colony removed. The United Earth Federation knows little about the Kazons, so they offer Bove, who captains the starship Ibex, a mission to learn more. He accepts the mission and enlists Stella Thorne, whom he has not seen since meeting her on his last mission, and is anxious to see her again. He hopes she has knowledge of the Kazons that will be helpful for the mission. The seemingly simple mission to gather information proves to be more treacherous than Bove, Stella, and the Ibex crew expect.
