For more than a decade, Jeremy Moss was in private law practice, representing common interest communities, individual members of common interest communities and corporate clients throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and Washington DC. Jeremy has earned a reputation as an effective corporate advisor, counselor, advocate, problem solver, educator, and at times, peace-maker, providing exemplary service and outstanding results for his clients. Professionally, Jeremy dedicated his time to advancing legislative policies that foster vibrant community associations, promoting harmony, community, professional and responsible leadership. Jeremy still enjoys a positive reputation and recognition as an expert in common interest community association law on a statewide and national level and is frequent contributor to magazines, legal publications, and scholarly journals on issues related to common interest communities. This is Jeremy's first book. In 2014, Jeremy was named a fellow of the CAI College of Community Association Lawyers, the youngest member ever inducted. Jeremy is an AV Preeminent(R) rated lawyer, demonstrating the highest level of professional excellence. He was also recognized as a Rising Star on the 2010, 2012-2015, 2017 Virginia and 2013-2015 District of Columbia SuperLawyers lists. In 2016 and 2017, Jeremy was listed among Virginia's Legal Elite by Virginia Business Magazine (Bankruptcy and Creditor's Rights) and as a Top Lawyer by Coastal Virginia Magazine (Bankruptcy and Workout). Jeremy was also named as an Up & Coming Lawyer in 2017 by Virginia Lawyer's Weekly. Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in 2003, minoring in Business Leadership and Urban Affairs and Planning. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. in 2007. In his spare time, Jeremy remains active and enjoys spending time with his family, including wife, Katy, his sons, Silas and Aidan, and English bulldog, Bao Bao (Daisy).
