Xu Xiutang has been engaged in the creation of violet sand craft for nearly 50 years. Known as the Great Master of Chinese Arts and Crafts. He has published more than 10 professional books and several papers on violet sand craft. His violet sand works have won National Awards several times. Some of his works are stored by many museums at home and abroad, including the British Museum, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium and Shanghai Museum.
