Overview

Viola wants to participate in her school's annual bubble-blowing contest. She feels discouraged because she can't blow a bubble, but her friends encourage her to sign up. Determined to win, Viola turns to her next-door neighbor, Mrs. Bubblepopper, who is a former bubble-blowing champion. Despite being retired from competing, Mrs. Bubblepopper agrees to help Viola. With Mrs. Bubblepopper's guidance, Viola learns how to blow the perfect bubble and goes on to compete in the contest with confidence. This heartwarming story teaches the importance of determination, the value of asking for help, and the joy of trying new things.

Long about the importance of practice, perseverance, and friendship. Of particular note is the blossoming friendship between the title character and her older neighbor nextdoor, illustrating the oft-forgotten value that our senior citizens offer to society. Long Reviewed in the United States �������� on March 27, 2023I loved this book. Like her other books, I love how they are always very positive and there is always a lesson to be learned. I also LOVE how the other characters from her other books are always included, connecting her stories. This book is good for all ages. It is great for story time at home or in the classroom. It really keeps you reading and wondering how it will end. My 7th grader enjoyed it as well. The illustrations are also amazing, as they are in all of her books. Thanks for another great book! Looking forward to more in the future.
