Overview

Jack Ballard is a 50ish artist/screenwriter struggling with being bipolar: manic and severely depressed. After a failed suicide attempt, Jack mysteriously finds himself in a New York City psych ward. Jack and his laptop are trying to finish the script that will finally be ""the big one."" The ghost of Vincent Van Gogh visits Jack. Vincent claims he was murdered and that he has an amazing story to tell that could turn Jack's mediocre script into a sure-fire Oscar winner. Has Van Gogh really come back from the dead? Is there a missing masterpiece? Is Jack in China or still in the psych ward alone? Vinnie Got Murdered is a dark comedy of trials & errors, bipolar calamities, the art world, romance, modern-day China, subtle film references, and most importantly, Jack and Vinnie's desire to find a missing masterpiece that may or may not exist.
