OverviewMany young men were involved in the Vietnam War in the days of the United States military draft. Those who were there well remember the war and there was anger by the bulk of the population towards our own country concerning the involvement. Unfortunately many suffered injuries and there were those that did not make it home. The photographs on these pages are from a private photograph collection taken during the Vietnam War by a combat medic. He spent much of his time with the 25th ID between August 5, 1967 and July 28, 1968, the time period of these photographs. At that time he was assigned to the 1/27th Wolfhounds, 25th Infantry Division.
