Rajni is a big time thief robbing money from the rich. He is capable of opening any lock however big it was. His girlfriend is Madhavi who is a singer and a dancer in a club. One day rajni get caught by Sivaji who is police officer. He goes to prison for one year. There he meets vijaykumar who lost all his wealth by a Sundarsan, who used to be poor but used his brains to make vijaykumars sister fall for him. Vijaykumar wants Rajni to rob his house where Sundarsan has hidden the money.
