Angela Waidmann is a German fictional writer and historian, holding a master`s degree from Bonn University. When the enthusiastic rider and horse breeder, specializing academically in the history of horses, began to enquire about Kazimierz Pulaski, she immediately knew that she would write her next novel about the Polish ""father of the US cavalry."" She had no idea what an adventure she was embarking on: Her research led to new scientific findings, which turned the historical image of Gen. Pulaski upside down in many respects. They were published in two articles in the Journal of America's Military Past.
