Overview""Alexander's accessible narrative is as emotional as it is mythic, blending action-packed sequences with affecting moments of vulnerability and courage. [...] A thrilling, heartfelt journey of identity, friendship, and rediscovered myth."" -Kirkus Reviews Some powers are born in silence. Others echo through the heartbeat of the world. Nada has always tried to stay invisible. Deaf since birth, she hides a secret: she can see sound as shifting waves of light. Kani, the bold new guy at school, feels vibrations in everything-and can shape them with a power he barely understands. Their connection is instant. But it's no coincidence. Together, they awaken forces buried deep in their DNA and uncover a truth long erased from history: their lives are bound to Atlantis... and to gods who are far from mythical. Now hunted by shadowy creatures and threatened by powers they can't yet name, Nada and Kani must figure out who they truly are-before time runs out. As their bond deepens, so does the cost of embracing their legacy. The fate of Atlantis-and the world-rests in their hands. Will they save it... or die trying? ""With well-developed characters, fast-paced action, and a vibrant narrative enhanced by alternating viewpoints, this novel will keep readers hooked from start to finish-making it a must-read for fans of Percy Jackson and myth-inspired fantasy."" -Indie Reader Full Product DetailsAuthor: A R AlexanderPublisher: Exgeo Imprint: Exgeo Dimensions: Width: 12.70cm , Height: 1.30cm , Length: 20.30cm Weight: 0.227kg ISBN: 9781739449445ISBN 10: 1739449444 Pages: 224 Publication Date: 15 May 2025 Recommended Age: From 13 to 18 years Audience: Young adult , Teenage / Young adult Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order ![]() We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationI'm an Italian-born writer now living in the south of England with my husband, our three kids, and a dog who thinks he's the boss (he might be right). I used to work as a psychologist, but these days I spend my time writing Young Adult fiction in both English and Italian, blending mythology, adventure, and a touch of sci-fi.I've lived with dyslexia and ADHD my whole life. For years, I often felt like I wasn't good enough or like I had to work twice as hard just to keep up. But those challenges shaped me. They taught me resilience, creativity, and how to think outside the box. Looking back, I'm proud of the path I've taken and everything I've learned along the way. That journey now feeds into the stories I write and the characters I create, many of whom carry pieces of my own experience. If someone had told me 30 years ago that I'd become a psychologist, or even more surprisingly, a writer, I would have laughed out loud. But here I am. I graduated, I published a book, and I'm about to publish two more.My second novel, Vibrations - Children of Atlantis, is out now, and I'm currently working on the sequel. I'm also part of a literary project to rediscover and share the voices of forgotten Italian women writers, because no good story deserves to be lost.
