Microbiology is one of the core subjects for veterinary students, and since its first publication in 2002, Veterinary Microbiology and Microbial Disease has become an essential text for students of veterinary medicine. Regardless of one's approach to teaching of veterinary infectious diseases, this book should be an excellent instructional tool. Although intended for students in veterinary microbiology, it is extremely comprehensive and has sufficient scope and depth to be used by graduate students as well.
