Overview

This book was written to help all of us develop a more meaningful and effective prayer life. It contains a collection of personal meditations. Some were born through grief, while others came from times of great jubilation and praise. Each begins with a sincere plea for mercy and ends with a positive declaration of faith. It is the unwavering belief in the never-ending love and the never-failing power of an Almighty God that compels believers to take all of their cares to Him in prayer. The Lord knows where we were in the past, where we presently are, and where we can be in the future. Through prayer, the ways of an overcoming warrior and the power to live an overcoming life will be given to us. For our words to be effective we must trust God and faithfully pray as Jesus did, ""Not my will but thine be done."" Pastor Danny began his ministry in 1973 as a Youth Pastor and faithfully taught young people for twenty years. In August 1993, he accepted the call from Kettle Creek Church in Waycross, Georgia. His love for God and his people has compelled him to preach the Word so that everyone can understand it. His desire is to teach the truth, live the life, and give to God.
