Overview

Hank Simmons, his wife Samantha, and their son Hank Jr. are settling in for a quiet night at their home in Georgia when they begin to hear strange noises. On the television, a frantic reporter and a visiting professor discuss a new threat known as the Vesper Shifters, referred to as ""Night Wanderers in Flesh."" Moments later, the camera captures the shocking deaths of the reporter and professor at the hands of something invisible. Realizing they could be the next targets, Hank gathers his family and flees to the only refuge he trusts: the deep woods where he grew up. Determined to confront whatever comes for them on familiar ground, he sets out. However, the forest is not the safe haven he hoped for. The creatures are already there, emerging only at night and capable of taking on the appearances of those you love-or those you fear. Additionally, the shifters are not the only danger. Other survivors, driven by desperation or cruelty, pose threats of their own, proving that sometimes the worst monsters are human.
