Overview

The Year is 2020 Jess is just an average high school student. He is one of the smart kids not one of the popular ones and he is exceptionally awkward around girls. His life is about to change in more ways than one when Rachelle, a French foreign exchange student, comes to his school. For Jess its love at first sight only he doesn't know what to do about it. Before Jess can pluck up the courage to ask her out, his world, and everyone else's, is turned upside down when, in the face of a global pandemic, he is kidnapped along with Rachelle, his best friend Vien and a handful of other students by a rogue bus driver intent on keeping them safe from the invasion of Earth by an alien race called the Entari. The Year is 2067 Jess is a Vendunari. He is one of five guardians of ancient crystal orbs of incredible power known as the Nari. They form the most powerful weapon in the known galaxy and the red Nari is the key to that power being unleashed. Thirty years ago the red Nari was stolen and the love of his life Rachelle was killed. He and the other Vendunari have been hidden in self imposed exile ever since. Through the power of the blue Nari he should have stayed young but his eternal anger and sadness has made him reject it's influence. He just wants to die of old age like a normal human being. However the blue Nari won't let him and now it is compelling him to find the red Nari again. Jess must track down the other Vendunari and find the red Nari before anyone else does. Future peace across the galaxy is at stake but it's not that easy to come back after 30 years in isolation. Everything is different, even his friends.
