Professional gardener, horticulture expert, and successful business owner. Since a very young age, Lisa has been passionate about animals and nature. During her childhood and teenage years, she spent most of her summers and holidays at her grandparent's village in Ojai, Ventura County. She just loved spending time with her grandmother and taking care of her plants - fruits, vegetables, berries. At about 16 years old, Lisa already knew that her life and career would be very much related to nature and gardening. Once she finished high school, she went on to study horticulture at Mt. San Antonio College. After graduation, she worked with multiple farms and horticulture companies in California for several years, helping them grow and expand their businesses nationally and internationally. Unfortunately, this wasn't a life Lisa has imagined herself living, and after about 5 years of intensive work, she decided to leave and start her own little family gardening business. This was also the time when she met her husband, Joe, who helped to turn her vision into reality. To create and nurture a successful organic gardening business was one of Lisa's biggest dreams! Another dream was to create her own animal shelter and help lost animals find their home and future owners. Joe and Lisa did that, as well. Today Lisa is a very successful Organic Farm owner serving local businesses and people who really care about their health and longevity.
