This collection contains the research presented at VAST 2007, the 8th International Symposium on Virtual Reality, Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, which will take place November 27-29, in Brighton, UK. Topics include those that advance the state of the art either in potential computing science solutions, which are directly inspired by needs of the cultural heritage sector, or use the best of current computing science solutions in novel applications to cultural heritage challenges.
