Language: German Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationWilly Guggenheim spent many years attempting to establish himself as a freelance artist in Paris, but he moved back to Switzerland in the 1930s. His first successes, not only artistically but also financially, came in the 1950s. In 1960, Varlin represented Switzerland at the Venice Biennale and also received the Guggenheim International Award.
