OverviewWhile there is a reasonable selection of readers for use with classes studying Greek, there is a shortage of book containing suitable selections for teaching the techniques of translation; this book is designed to fill this gap. It consists of three sections. The first contains a series of sequences which tell a particular story, each sequence being introduced by a brief account of the context; the majority of the sequences are from prose authors. There are also a few individual passages. The second section consists of harder pieces, both prose and verse, some of which are arranged in sequenses, but a greater proportion of which are isolated pieces intended for use as unseens. The final section is an Appendix, which is intended as a convenient source of Greek practice passages.
