Dr. MeKonnen H. Birru, author of 'vanity and vanities' (2012) was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He came to the United States right after high school and received multiple degrees from the states respected colleges and universities. Dr. Birru has written four books, including a national best seller 'Tamera Menfis' (in Amharic, 2006) and 'DEEP IN TRUE SELF' (2011) which is available @Amazon.com, Barnes & Nobel, and several other book stores around the world. Currently, Dr. Birru resides in Texas and is a faculty at Fortis South College and an adjunct professor at Houston Community College Coleman Health Science Center.
