Reviews

PreS-Gr 3-This series offers readers a solid foundation with simple vocabulary and essential concepts, making it a great choice for young learners. The bright illustrations are intended to capture attention, but the cartoon style may not resonate with every reader. While they are playful and accessible, the exaggerated characters and bright colors may be off-putting to those who prefer more realistic or subdued artwork. Nonetheless, the series offers a valuable introduction to key vocabulary and concepts, with engaging stories and vibrant visuals that will likely appeal to children learning Spanish. VERDICT Aimed at supporting early literacy, this series may not appeal to every reader, but still offers good information; larger collections should consider.--School Library Journal ""https: //www.slj.com/story/classroom/building-bridges-of-inclusivity-spanish-series-nonfiction"" (4/1/2025 12:00:00 AM)
