Author Information

Christopher Scott Downing graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a degree in Russian Studies. Subsequently, he spent his adult life working in restaurants and grocery stores. Then one day, he discovered that he was severely depressed about the whole thing. Once he decided to start writing that experience down, he found he couldn't stop. And that's pretty much that. Now his goal is to help men begin the conversation about their mental health concerns. He and his wife live with their two children in Denver. Van Gogh in Peppers is his first memoir. It won't be his last.
