He has published numerous books based on major photodocumentary projects including The Cost of Living, Small World, and Common Sense. The Martin Parr Foundation opened in Bristol, England, in 2017. It houses his own archive, his collection of prints and books, and is a hub for exhibitions, screenings, talks, and events. Wendy Jones is the author of The Sex Lives of English Women: Intimate Questions, Unexpected Answers, and Portrait of the Artist as a Young Girl: The Biography of Grayson Perry as well as two novels, The Thoughts and Happenings of Wilfred Price, Purveyor of Superior Funerals and The World is a Wedding.
