She and her husband, two children, and twodogs live in Williston, Vermont. John McKinley has been drawing all his life. He is the celebrated illustrator of the Ready, Freddy! chapter-book series, which has more than 13 million books in print. He and his family live on the Monterey Bay of California's Central Coast.
