He is the author of a number of books on Mac OS X, FileMaker, the Web, and a variety of other technologies such as Drupal, mashups, and Facebook. His most recent books are Filemaker Pro 10 in Depth, Sams Teach Yourself Drupal in24 Hours, and iWork ’09 for Dummies. A member of the FileMaker Business Alliance, he is also a developer of solutions for small businesses, nonprofit organizations (particularly those in the arts fields), publishing, and production companies. He has done many FileMaker rehabs, bringing them up to modern standards and designs. His knowledge of FileMaker and Mac OS X technologies has helped him integrate tools such as Automator into FileMaker solutions–and now into Bento.
