Then it also gives an elaborate and up-to-date account of the developments in utilization of the wastes generated during the use of the minerals, and also the current trends and status in research and development for actual and potential substitutes of a mineral in different uses. Some of the information incorporated in it are not ordinarily available or accessible to many, but have been obtained by the author through personal contacts with the industries, laboratories etc. The book presents a highly technical subject in an easily understandable logical fashion.
