Author Information

The author was born in 1950 into a career navy family at Glendale, California. He spent most of his youth around ships and naval bases. And began his art career at age five drawing the ships and trains he grew up with. His art became a lifelong passion which continues to this day. Wayne's art skills are entirely self-taught. In the late 1960's he served in the US Army's Nike Hercules missile program and later in 8 self propelled field artillery in the California Army National Guard. After a 40 year career as a computer engineering technician working largely on military projects, he changed careers to author and artist. In 2005 with his India born wife, Swarn, Wayne relocated to the Eastern Sierra Nevada. Where they currently reside with the two family cats Cozy and Tux. When not writing or painting they enjoy fitness, healthy cooking and traveling Northern Nevada and California.
