Overview

The present volume “Learning to Make Judgements, Part III” continues with the reflections and discourses carried out so far on how to form a judgement and looks into possibilities for practising and putting this skill to the test. The volume focuses in particular on educational processes that seek to support the training and qualification of children and young people in judgement formation. Clearly, this cannot be done without profound reflection, and this is given consideration in the anthology as are numerous contributions that present feasible pathways for religious education, especially for upper secondary education.

Marco Hofheinz ist Professor für Systematische Theologie am Institut für Theologie der Leibniz-Universität Hannover sowie Sprecher des Forschungsforums Religion im kulturellen Kontext, Vorstandsmitglied der Gesellschaft für die Geschichte des reformierten Protestantismus. Dr. Simon Layer ist seit 2018 Vikar der Evangelischen Landeskirche Baden. Er studierte evangelischen Theologie an der Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg und promovierte im Rahmen des DFG-Graduiertenkollegs 1718 »Präsenz und implizites Wissen« an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Prof. Dr. Ingrid Schoberth hat nach Lehrtätigkeit an der Bergischen Unviersität in Wuppertal seit 2003 den Lehrstuhl für Praktische Theologie/Religionspädagogik an der Theologischen Fakultät der Universität Heidelberg inne.
