Rocio B. Flores is a first-generation Mexican immigrant writer, artist, and mental health peer specialist whose work explores deconstructing faith, intergenerational trauma, and the study of ""The Self."" She is a mother, caretaker, and community builder - a self-taught visual artist and lifelong advocate for marginalized voices. She lives in Northern Colorado with her family and their loving cat. She is most often found enjoying coffee and Hot Cheetos. Untying You From Me is her debut poetry collection.
