Dr W. Franklin Evans is a high education professional, having been in the education arena over 30 years. He has served in the role of president and chief executive office for West Liberty University (USA), Voorhees College (USA), and South Carolina State University (USA). Over the years he has successfully led institutions through reaffirmation of accreditation processes, created new degree programs, and established honor colleges. He is also an experienced fundraiser and grant writer, and he has conducted numerous faculty development workshops and served as a mentor and coach. A graduate of the University of Georgia and Georgia State University, Dr Evans holds degrees in entomology, journalism, middle childhood education, curriculum and instruction, as well as administration and supervision. His doctoral degree is in higher education administration, and he holds life the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
