Arthur, Virgil & Violet are in the process of being written.They sit around and wait for the writer to decide who they are and what they want. Virgil wants to feel in control. Arthur wants to protect the group. Violet just wants to feel something real. All the while the events surrounding these characters are observed by a mysterious man in a suit. Untitled is a new play by Sam Bird that mixes surrealism with existential drama and explores what happens to characters when an author dictates their every move and the existence of free will is questionable.

Sam Bird is a writer and director specialising in the staging of new and experimental work. Previously a student at East 15 Acting School, he is now studying at the University of Bristol where his work has been performed at various independent theatres.
