Author Information

Julie Jankowski started her own gymnastics career at a Mommy and Me class, competed in the USAG gymnastics program through level 7, was on her high school's very first gymnastics team, and continued competing at the college level before eventually retiring after an injury. Julie's experience as a gymnast profoundly affected her life. She decided her career goal would be to become involved in sport psychology in order to help other gymnasts become more mentally tough than she felt she was able to in her gymnastics career. She chose sport psychology as her major in college and graduated with a Master's degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport Psychology. Julie was a Sport Psychology Consultant for several years, then tried out a few different career paths before she finally returned to gymnastics as a coach. She resides in Buffalo, NY with her husband Jon and sons Easton and Brody. Writing this book will be a fulfillment of a dream she has always had! Julie feels she has finally found her calling as a gymnastics coach and is now living the dream!
