The most far out transgender story you will ever read! Calvin is already androgynous, but he dreams of being a woman; imagining himself as this other person whom he names Klarissa. This is only a fantasy until one morning it has become a reality! Physically he has transformed into she, but the world and everything else remains the same. However, the physical transformation is unstable and Calvin-or Klarissa-can't maintain a steady gender on one side or the other for very long. An encounter with a blue alien goddess from the Pleiades informs Calvin/Klarissa that they are a Zeromorph, a rare being who can physically transform their body between both genders. Who are they deep down? Are they Klarissa or are they Calvin? They know they must leave their home town in Nevada and travel in a van named The Quantum Shortbus in order to discover who they truly are in a new location-Mount Shasta. There Calvin and Klarissa meet a married couple, Lilith and Atomsk, respectively and separately. Calvin becomes romantically involved with Lilith and Klarissa becomes romantically involved with Atomsk. Neither of them know they've become lovers with the same person. The blue alien goddess strives to teach Calvin/Klarissa to control their Zeromorphic powers, but ultimately it is their own journey to discover who and what they really are within the Divine Androgyny and beyond.
