OverviewUNSAFE leads you through a journey of why otherwise smart people make bad choices about their safety and provides practical tips on how to avoid these costly choices. You will learn why safe thinking in the modern world is far from a natural way of thinking and why some people are wired to be risk takers and why you should be careful around them. UNSAFE provides practical advice when it comes to dealing with everyday hazardous activities like going to work, riding a bike, eating your lunch, and interacting with your spouse or your boss. UNSAFE explains the real reasons why you should diversify your investments and why damaging your reputation could be just as costly as a car accident. UNSAFE also explains why you should never assume common sense of anyone and why and how to learn from the mistakes of others. UNSAFE will help you appreciate how even deceptively simple accidents lead to cascading consequences that can have serious lifelong consequences for many people. Unsafe will show you why safe thinking is a modest, and often free, investment in your future that will actually make you and your loved ones live healthier, wealthier, longer, and happier lives. UNSAFE provides a unique perspective on the relationship between safety, risk, health, wealth, and decision-making.
