English summary: After the nineteen seventies, the people of Germany experienced the gradual evolution of a critical debate concerning the disenfranchisement, dispossession, expulsion and ultimately murder of their former Jewish neighbours. However one aspect of disenfranchisement has for a long time attracted little attention, namely the process of so-called aryanization. This was the dispossession of German Jews during the 30's by the state, municipalities, their competitors, the church and neighbours, which took place largely without compensation. The Third Reich was incredibly successful not only because it had had so many active collaborators but more especially because many people were unable to resist taking advantage of what criminal Nazi policies offered. ""Aryanization"" represents a key example of this phenomenon and partly miserable way in which the compensation of victims was handled after 1945 and brought little credit to the Federal Republic. The fact that we still find it difficult to deal with this subject today, can be seen in the debates surrounding looted art, such as the one currently taking place with relation to the Gurlitt collection. German description: Seit den siebziger Jahren begann in Deutschland allmahlich die kritische Auseinandersetzung mit der Entrechtung, Enteignung, Vertreibung und schliesslich Ermordung der judischen Nachbarn. Allerdings blieb ein Bereich der Entrechtung lange Zeit wenig beachtet, namlich die sogenannte Arisierung: die letztlich weitgehend entschadigungslose Enteignung der judischen Deutschen in den dreissiger Jahren, durch den Staat, die Kommunen, Konkurrenten, Kirchen oder Nachbarn. Das Dritte Reich war nicht nur wegen der vielen Mitmacher so schrecklich erfolgreich, sondern auch vor allem wegen der vielen Menschen, die es nicht lassen konnten, die verbrecherischen Angebote der NS-Politik zu nutzen. Dafur ist die ""Arisierung"" ein zentrales Beispiel und der teilweise deprimierende Umgang mit der Entschadigung der Opfer nach 1945 kein Ruhmesblatt fur die Bundesrepublik. Wie schwer wir uns damit bis heute tun, zeigen die Debatten um die Raubkunst, auch im Zusammenhang mit der Sammlung Gurlitt.
