OverviewThe suicide rates has been on the increase in this century and this has caused concerns to social cohesion of the communities. There are a number of reasons that are being proffered as causes of the increase in suicide cases in Zimbabwe. The book brings to the table a wide range of issues like dynamics in socialisation, socio-economic challenges, and mental health issues. The conservative members of the society put much of the blame to the relegation of traditional norms and values that has replaced ubuntu philosophy with individualism, where people are not taking care of each other.
