I had difficulty putting it down. (Alan Bryce. Toronto, Ontario.) I absolutely loved 'The Legend of Anson Minor.' Every story is a gem. Whether set in the Himalayan Mountains or the Gatineau Hills, each tale was exotic, rich, and tremendously entertaining. (Judith Farraud. London, England.) 'Unprotected Sects' is a wonderful read and sheds a lot of light on a tradition largely misunderstood. What's more, Vanek's humour works its way onto every page. (Andrew Salkeld. Wakefield, Quebec.) 'Unprotected Sects' is the first book I've completed in a long time. It was interesting, in fact fascinating, and I found myself laughing in public places. It was a perfect book at a perfect moment for me. (Michael Racine, Waterton Park, Alberta.) Author InformationNathan Vanek was born in Toronto, Canada, in 1951.
