Lily Huang Carrier is a dynamic and successful nurse entrepreneur and business mentor both in China and America. She worked as a medical-surgery nurse, built a thriving post-operative care business, and hosted a television program to invite international entrepreneurs to help local businesses grow, which was broadcast across China. Lily has been drawn to teaching and coaching all her life. She earned her Master of Arts in Education degree from Guangxi Normal University, where she also served on the faculty. Leaving behind her career, country, family, friends, and everything she knew that defined who she was, she embraced her visiting scholar opportunity and the challenge of staying in the United States. With just two suitcases, she was able to build a new life. She earned her nursing degree from Michigan State University, worked as a critical care nurse in different settings, built a prosperous business law and life plan elder law practice with her husband, and founded her nursing business training and coaching firm, Nursing Career Consultants, LLC.
