Overview

The University of Florida Leadership and Education Foundation, Inc. (UFLEF, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that serves as a Direct Support Organization for the University of Florida. Since its creation in 1992, UFLEF, Inc. has been tasked to further the teaching, research and service missions of the University of Florida specifically as they pertain to agriculture, natural resources and related activities.As such UFLEF, Inc. is administrated by the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) and follows the IFAS mission to develop knowledge in agriculture, human and natural resources, and to make that knowledge available to people to sustain and enhance their quality of life. UFLEF, Inc. is currently organized into two units; the Office of Conferences and Institutes and the Wedgworth Leadership Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources.
