Universal Systems Theory is James W.B. Manuel's grand unifying theory of everything psychological. In this book, Dr. Manuel describes his fund of knowledge across the span of human psychological functioning from personality development, through mental illness, and onto intervening to give helpers the best chances to be able to be competent in helping others, organizations, families, and their very own selves to pursue the full unfolding of their ideal selves. Dr. Manuel received his Psy.D. from Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology in 2007. He is licensed to practice psychology in Texas (34502), Massachusetts (10934), and Ohio (7170). Dr. Manuel is a generalist trained clinician, but his specialty areas include working with at risk African American males, multiculturalism, and families. His practice history involves the treatment of diverse clients, with a variety of life problems (e.g. depression, anxiety, marital/family problems, occupational/academic concerns, violence/aggression, substance abuse, sexual issues, financial issues, and grief).
